Greenway Plaza Conference Center in the Shops (Phase I) - The Crescent Conference Room

In connection with Crescent's desire to deliver superior customer service, we are pleased to offer first class meeting room facilities conveniently located within the Shops at Greenway Plaza, on the Concourse Level between Three and Four Greenway Plaza. Customers may reserve the conference center for a nominal fee on a first come, first served basis. Please refer to the map for the Conference Centers location information.

Who May Use The Conference Center in the Shops
The Conference Center in the Shops is available only to Greenway Plaza customers for business meetings and company events. The room is subject to all Greenway Plaza building rules and regulations (subject to change from time to time).

Meetings, Employee Training, and Team Building Activities
The Conference Center in the Shops is perfect for your next business seminar, employee meeting, audio/web conference, employee training session or retirement party! Comfortably conduct large scale meetings (100 seated classroom style / 64 seated auditorium style) and avoid the hassles and higher costs associated with traveling to other offsite facilities.

If your firm is looking to host an executive board meeting and requires a smaller venue (14 seated), please view information for The Crescent Boardroom in the Shops to learn more about the well appointed boardroom amenities.

Auditorium Configuration
The Conference Center is equipped to accommodate seating for up to 100 people or 150 standing. Arrangements for desired room set-up should be made at the time of reservation. Please refer to diagrams of rooms for detailed layouts. (click title for layout diagram)

* If you require the electrical setup for the classroom style seating, we will need to be informed of this requirement, at the time you make your reservation.

Parking Accommodations
Visitor parking is conveniently located in close proximity to the Conference Center in the Shops. You may park in the Three and Four Greenway Plaza visitors parking lot on the concourse level of the Greenway East Garage across from the Transportation Center. Please refer to the map above. Hours of Availability
The Conference Center in the Shops is available during weekdays from 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and after hours on a case by case basis. In connection with customer lease agreements, The Conference Center in the Shops observes the following Greenway Plaza holidays:

Reservations
The Conference Center in the Shops can be reserved on a first come, first served basis. To place a reservation request, please fill out the online form. A property management representative will contact you to complete a facility agreement for each reservation requested. Please keep in mind, the room is not considered “reserved” until you sign and receive back a fully executed facility agreement. It is strongly recommended that reservations are made a minimum of 48 hours in advance of your event date; however, reservations may be booked no more than six (6) months in advance. Should you need to modify an existing reservation, please contact the Crescent Customer Center at 713.965.2913 and we will update your information accordingly.

Rental & Clean-up Fees
The Conference Center in the Shops is rented on an hourly or full day basis. The rental rate is $75.00 per hour, with a two hour minimum rental, or $500 for a full day rental. Please note, there must be a minimum of two hours scheduled between reservations to ensure adequate time for setup/clean up; be sure to consider this when entering in your reservation request adjacent to any reservations that have already been established for that day. A $50 clean-up fee will be charged for each reservation. A $50 configuration fee will be charged for setups other than the standard classroom style setup. If you deviate from any of the following floor plan layouts, there will be an additional charge of $150.00 for the new room configuration. If a microphone is needed for your event, this item can be checked out at the Management Office, located at One Greenway Plaza, Suite 725 (a valid photo ID will be required to checkout the equipment).

After hours rental of the Conference Center in the Shops, includes, the large conference center and The Boardroom (seating 14) is available for a flat rate of $750. Please contact your property management representative for further details or to make arrangements to reserve the Conference Center in the Shops. Please note, this type of reservation request cannot be made through the online reservation system.

All costs incurred as a result of facility rental will be billed in conjunction with the monthly customer statement. Please take into consideration any setup and breakdown time that you may require when scheduling the conference room. You are responsible for removing any material, catering items or trash from the room once your event has concluded. Small trash and recycling receptacles are available within the conference center. Any remaining items might be discarded and an additional cleanup charge could be assessed for housekeeping services.

Cancellation Policy
No charge will be incurred for reservations canceled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled request date. However, a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged for meetings canceled with less than 48 hours notice.

Catering, Food Delivery and Clean-up
Catering and food delivery is permissible. The Conference Center in the Shops offers a reception area/kitchen and staging area for catering, serving counter, and convenient shelving for assistance with catering needs. Crescent Management encourages the use of Greenway Plaza Retail Customers, given that they are familiar with Greenway Plaza, they already have insurance on file, and they have a strong desire to provide the best possible service to Greenway Customers (click on the link below for specific retailer information).

In the event another catering provider is desired, a current copy of the vendor’s Certificate of Insurance will be required prior to the event (click on the link below for a sample certificate indicating minimum coverage and certificate holder requirements). Please submit a valid Certificate of Insurance along with the signed facility agreement. In the event food is being dropped off and warming equipment is not needed, a Certificate of Insurance will not be necessary. Also, please keep in mind that alcoholic beverages are prohibited unless prior arrangements have been made with Crescent Management. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all trash and leftover catering items are properly disposed.
